Summary
The Senior Program Coordinator for Credit Evaluation is responsible for managing transfer credit evaluation and posting for all Tulane student records, maintaining accurate academic records, and providing responsive services to prospective students, current students, faculty, and staff. This position’s key responsibilities include: • Oversees quality control and daily processing of transfer and test credits, ensuring compliance with institutional, DoD, federal, and state regulations. Utilizes independent judgment in the evaluation process. • Implements process improvements in student record-related activities and supports the Office of the University Registrar in enhancing various procedures. • Serves as an administrator for the transfer articulation system, including management of the official website, training provision, and overseeing course equivalency approvals. • Assists with maintaining the Student Information System (SIS) and articulation modules for internal and external use, ensuring timely processing of transfer articulation decisions and credit posting. • Conducts research and analysis to determine transfer credit eligibility, maintain transfer equivalencies in the Banner system, and document related processes. • Provides high-level customer service with a thorough understanding of academic regulations, policies, and procedures related to transfer credit and Registrar functions.

• Policy Interpretation and Confidentiality: Skilled in policy interpretation and maintaining confidentiality.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of related experience. OR • High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 5 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting students using Banner or other student information systems from functional perspective.
• Experience documenting workflows and business processes using MS Visio or similar software.
• 2 years of experience in a Registrar’s Office, including knowledge of academic advising and degree audit support; functional processing oversight of Banner and related systems and apps: online grade change, online withdrawal, Parchment relationship, Degree checkout and Commencement processing, Major/Minor cert tool, diploma processing, maintenance of student academic record integrity; preservation of permanent student academic records; enrollment reporting and data analysis; protecting the privacy of student academic records; and certification of veteran student education benefits and all related higher education policy.
• System knowledge of curriculum management (i.e., CourseLeaf: CLSS, CAT, CIM).
• System knowledge of DegreeWorks, EMS, IBM Cognos, and/or similar Higher Education software systems used to support Registrar operations.
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 24.
