About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management program. The successful candidate will be a solution-oriented leader with a strong background in risk management, particularly in a highly regulated environment. This role involves partnering with various internal teams, including compliance, legal, finance, technology, internal audit, and marketing, to address complex business challenges and establish new risk management initiatives. The Head of ERM will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all operations, monitoring market trends and regulatory developments, and ensuring the company's compliance with applicable laws and industry standards. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and integrate risk management principles into the organization's processes and decision-making.Candidates for the Head of ERM position at the company should have an in-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools, and the ability to apply both quantitative and qualitative techniques to manage risks effectively. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, and a minimum of 12-15 years' of experience in risk management, or 8+ years with a Master's degree, preferably in the financial services industry. Professional certifications such as PRM are highly desirable, and experience with Regulation SCI is a plus. The role demands a leader who can navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and is adept at conducting risk assessments, stress tests, and scenario analysis to ensure the company's resilience to various market conditions. The Head of ERM will also be responsible for preparing and presenting risk reports to senior management and the Board of Directors, so the ability to communicate complex information effectively is crucial.
