Associate Manager, Corporate Communications
KDP is seeking an enthusiastic communications professional to help drive KDP’s corporate reputation. This position will be responsible for contributing to the strategic development, coordination and implementation of corporate communications initiatives at Keurig Dr Pepper, with the primary goal of elevating and protecting the leadership and reputation of the Company’s Corporate Responsibility (CR) initiatives. This includes developing and executing communications strategies that promote awareness and engagement among our stakeholders, supporting public CR reporting initiatives and assisting with issues and crisis communications. The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must also possess an understanding of sustainability issues, excellent written and verbal communications skills and outstanding project management abilities.
*This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be based in Burlington, MA or Frisco, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
Work with the Corporate Communications team in the strategic development, coordination and implementation of CR communications programs at KDP with a goal of protecting and promoting the reputation of KDP across all external channels (paid/earned/owned/shared)
Support the development and publication of KDP’s annual CR Report, including project management, content development and ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements
Collaborate with our CR, Government Affairs and other internal KDP departments to identify initiatives and story ideas for external communications
Create communications materials, including messaging, Q&As, executive memos and other collateral, representing the corporate voice authentically
Support proactive and reactive media relations strategies for Keurig’s CR initiatives
Identify opportunities to participate in and manage submissions for CR awards, rankings and speaking opportunities
Support CR issues and crisis mitigation and management
Analyze and identify industry trends, best practices and emerging risks impacting CR communications and reporting
Foster relationships with external communications agencies and vendors

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Communications, Journalism or business
6+ years of public relations or communications experience – agency or in-house
Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
Ensures integrated communications approach, considering multiple audiences and communications channels
Possesses clear ability to manage multiple projects at once while demonstrating strong composure and flexibility under tight deadlines
Team player, ability to build strong relations internally across functional areas and externally with vendors, suppliers and other constituents
Self-starter, highly motivated, and ability to work independently
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills with sound judgement and independent decision making
Commitment to company purpose and values
Ability to travel occasionally as required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
