Associate Manager, CPG - Strategy & Operations

Seattle, WA, United States

About The Team

The New Business Verticals team is building multiple lines of business across Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail and DashMart. The CPG Strategy & Operations team works alongside all vertical teams as well as our CPG Ads organization to help shape how DoorDash partners with CPG manufacturers to best serve our Customers, Dashers and Merchants.

About The Role

We’re hiring an Associate Manager who will help to shape our CPG partnership strategy from the ground up. You will build and define how we win with CPG manufacturers. From initiatives around data sharing to in store availability, to annual joint business planning, category management and consumer insights - this role will be critical to the success of our CPG efforts. You will report to the Director leading our CPG Strategy & Operations team. We are in a hybrid model, so we spend some time working in our offices and some time working remotely.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

Get to work cross functionally across our vertical teams and CPG ads team to help build our CPG partnership strategy for New Verticals.

Work externally with CPG manufacturers both large and small to help identify initiatives that can help to best serve our customers, dashers and merchant partners.

Be comfortable working in a nascent team where you’ll test, iterate and build long term strategy.

Help to develop our CPG data reporting framework, helping CPG manufacturers better understand and connect with the DoorDash consumer.

We’re Excited About You Because…

You have 5+ years of experience working within the Consumer Product Goods industry (i.e. manufacturer, retailer, distributor or service provider such as a syndicated data provider)

You have experience working with large datasets, analyzing data to help identify trends and formulating strategic plans. SQL experience preferred.

You enjoy forming relationships cross functionally and externally, and anchor your thinking in finding solutions for the customer (either CPG, consumer or Merchant).

You’re excited to work in an early stage team which is fast paced and evolving, and you have an energy and interest in the CPG industry.

You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree.
