Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the responsibility of developing a large and complex international web/mobile application used within the automotive industry. This self-starter will take the vision and execute on that using the latest frontend technology (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React) and backend technologies (.NET CORE, C#, AWS, Typescript, PostgreSQL). Working with an experienced technical lead, this is an opportunity to join an exceptional team and work on projects that will be used by both end consumers and employees of the largest automobile manufacturers around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and deliver a wide range of high profile, accessible and standards-compliant web and mobile projects

Work with colleagues and technical resources to define technical solutions that meet business requirements using agreed tools and technologies

Develop solutions in-line with in-house standards and practices

Carry out unit testing during the code development

Contribute to the on-going development of best practices, identification of suitable new tools and system and service improvements

Lead an existing Agile team with employees in Atlanta, Mexico and Vietnam.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 4+ years' relative experienc. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as Master's degree and 2 years' experience; P.h.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 18 years experience in a related field

4+ years of experience delivering highly engaging user experiences

3+ years' experience with C#, .NET Core

3+ years' experience with AWS (CDK, Lambda, API Gateway)

3+ years' experience with web development technologies including HTML 5.0, REST, Bootstrap, React/Angular

Proven track record working on high volume, high profile websites

Experience with cross-browser compatibility, responsive mobile design, organized code structure, and highly interactive user experiences

Experience with Postgres database platform a plus

Strong understanding of web technologies and web service architectures

In-depth knowledge and experience of the software development lifecycle

A good understanding of configuration management, testing and bug tracking; ideally with experience of XUnit (TDD)

Strong communication skills. Able to easily collaborate with peers
