Summary: Our client, a leader in the food service packaging industry, is seeking a Director of Sales for their Eastern Division.
Primary Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Develop comprehensive go-to-market and commercialization strategies for new foodservice products.
Create selling stories, sell-in decks, sales tools, and execute pilots/testing.
Identify target accounts and provide training for execution.
Sales and Market Insights:
Provide sales and customer perspectives to ensure key trends and market learnings are integrated into strategies.
Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to build necessary knowledge for informed commercialization strategies.
Co-manage sales performance of foodservice products with sales leaders.
Campaign Tracking and Training:
Track innovation and insight selling progress through campaigns and pipeline opportunities.
Lead training and capability building for the foodservice sales organization and products.
Job Requirements:
BS or MBA (Business/Marketing preferred) or equivalent experience.
Proven success in creating retail sales and marketing plans that drive consumer engagement and improve revenue streams.
10+ years of national operational retail sales and marketing experience.
Experience managing detailed sales and marketing-based P&L.
Ability to travel locally and overnight.
