Senior Full Stack Software DeveloperYou will implement robust business applications to help us sell our insurance products, interact with our customers, and communicate electronically with our agents. You will be expected to maintain awareness of internet trends, technologies and best practices. You must be adept at problem solving, workflow analysis, interpersonal relations, and have excellent oral/written communications skills.You must have the ability to direct others while promoting a spirit of partnership and collegiality across administrative and functional areas of the company. You will be expected to contribute with hands-on development.Responsibilities:Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate to designSource code developmentUnit test case developmentFunctional/system integration testing support and deploymentIntegrate component designSupport production as needed and meet development schedulesQualifications:Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum 8 years of experience developing web-based applicationsMinimum 5 years development experience in Java/J2EE technologiesExperience with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MyBatisExperience using and implementing RESTful web servicesExperience with JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere.Experience with Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML.Knowledge of AJAX techniques and modern JavaScript libraries including jQuery and AngularJSKnowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSONStrong understanding of SQL database design and stored proceduresFamiliarity with developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutionsMust have good understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, maintainability, security)Familiarity with Web application security considerationsPrior experience developing property & casualty applications a plusSelf-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
