Java Full Stack developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in both middle-tier server development and front-end presentation layers. This role involves working end-to-end—from user interfaces to database and object-oriented layers—delivering robust, high-performance web applications. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical designs. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality source code across the full stack. Create and execute unit tests; support functional and system integration testing. Participate in deployment activities and provide production support as needed. Design and integrate application components for seamless interoperability. Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, maintainability, and security standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies. Strong experience with: Core Java (multi-threading, Executor framework). Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MyBatis. RESTful web services development and integration. AJAX, XML/XSLT, and JSON. Application servers: JBoss, Apache, Tomcat. SQL database design, stored procedures, and performance optimization. Experience using GitHub Copilot in Agent mode to assist with Java development. Strong understanding of web application security best practices. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience developing Property & Casualty Insurance applications. Familiarity with non-functional requirements such as performance tuning and scalability strategies.
