What You Will Do
- Oversee and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet to meet production goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve production issues.
- Implement and maintain MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to effectively manage inventory levels.
- Lead and motivate a team of production employees to achieve production targets.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Monitor product quality through regular inspections and audits.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a manager in manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in business or related area preferred.
Ability to read/write/speak Mandarin to communicate colleagues in China.
Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Familiarity with MRP systems and production management software.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
