Stanford Hotels is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Information Technology who is passionate about technology and innovation to lead our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure, systems, and operations. This role requires strategic planning, project management, team leadership, effective collaboration and technical expertise to ensure the smooth functioning of our IT systems to support the company's goals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Develop and implement IT strategies to support the company's business objectives
Manage and lead the IT team in network administration, cybersecurity, software development, and technical support
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hardware, software, and cloud systems
Ensure data security and compliance with regulations
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and performance
Collaborate with other departments to support their technology needs and projects
Budget planning and cost management for IT projects and operations
WHAT WE NEED:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Minimum 10 years of experience (hospitality industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of network security, infrastructure, and systems administration
Windows/Active Directory environment with a mix of both on-premise and Infrastructure as a Service through OVH and Azure
Expertise in the following systems preferred:
Property Management System
Point of Sales
Central Reservation System
High Speed Internet Access
How the above interface or exchange data
Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
Experience running enterprise-wide projects
Experience in building, managing and mentoring/developing a diverse IT team including some remote IT team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skilled in collaborating with other departmental heads
Effective leadership and management abilities for cultivating and retaining talent while fostering a high performing team
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are a plus
