We’re looking for an dynamic and dedicated Data Scientist to support our customer and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a Data Scientist, you will have a crucial role in developing our quantitative methodology to help make sense of complex data sets. You will be analyzing the quality of data and using statistical techniques to discover trends, insights, and potential strategic solutions.
What we are looking for:
Proficiency in at least one data analysis programming language such as Python, R, or equivalent
Solid experience in applying statistical techniques such as regression, clustering, etc.
Strong knowledge of databases, data modeling, and data structures
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with Cloud-based systems and/or AI/Machine Learning Development
Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Highly preferred:
Experience working with significant data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and related technologies
Proficiency with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling
Knowledge of cloud-based data science tools such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Airflow, Luigi, etc.
Excellent communication skills to effectively share insights and work cross-functionally
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret Security clearance
