Accounting Clerk_

Description:

+ Executing transactions and maintaining records with complete accuracy of invoices, accounts payable / receivable, purchasing, and payroll.

+ Resolving certain accounting issues such as outstanding payments through communication with business managers, suppliers, and customers.

+ Monitor all assigned activities for inaccuracies and potential fraud and immediately report any suspect transactions.

+ Verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing invoices and other accounting documents or records.

+ Managing those invoices on behalf of the company in accordance with corporate procedures

+ Managing corporate accounts payable and account receivable

+ Processing payroll and managing employee data in ADP

+ Executing purchasing from requisition to vendor submission to receiving reconciliation

+ Compiling data and preparing a variety of reports

+ Processing end of month closing procedures

+ Supporting outsourced control functions and accounting services as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Minimum 5 years’ Accounting experience with Public and/or Private companies with revenues $20M to $200M, 10+ years’ Accounting experience preferred;

+ Manufacturing experience preferred

+ Financial software/systems experience; Sage or MAS preferred

+ College level Accounting coursework preferred

+ Competent with software applications including MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Pro

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
