This position focuses on heading a team of software developers, enabling and maintaining a suite of software applications serving large-scale, high-performance computing, supercomputing and parallel processing platforms in an R&D setting.

A week in the life of a Software Engineer
Work with DoD customer stakeholders, gathering mission objective and priorities
Provide DoD customer priorities to the software development team
Track software development progress ensuring work directly supports priorities
Monitor, investigate, and track software problem reports, originating from developers, test engineers, and operational users
Participate in failure analysis discussions and propose corrective actions to address deficiencies
Work with the customer to define and mitigate risks and potential obstacles for the software development team
Champion the needs of the software team to the customer in order to foster efficient and effective software development activities
Coordinate and participate in planning and technical meetings with both stakeholder groups and engineering personnel
Work in a hands-on, DevSecOps environment to build and test AI and Machine Learning applications that handle mountains of data
Job Requirements
5 years of progressively responsible experience in software development/engineering
Experience leading software development teams
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
