Senior Electric Technology Systems Analyst
The Human Resources Department is accepting applications for the Regular and Full-time position of Senior Electric Technology Systems Analyst in the Electric Department. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, occasional evening and weekend work may be required. A flex schedule may be available.
This role encompasses exciting responsibilities such as:
Supervise a dynamic team of Electric Technology Systems Technicians that manage, maintain, and support Distribution and Generation industrial control systems as well as Operational Support systems. Analyze, design, and implement improvements to existing systems as well as deploy new technologies to make sure the utility continues to meet its dynamic functional, compliance, and cyber needs. Engage in detailed troubleshooting of real-time data acquisition and data exchange with external entities. Engage with our NERC CIP cybersecurity standards as a reliability standard owner and establish policies and procedures to ensure our compliance. Put your blue team hat on and help continually improve the cyber security of the utility's ICS/OT systems.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience and Training
Experience:
Two (2) years of performing professional duties related to electric systems operations, including analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of electric utility computer-based systems.
OR
Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience providing support to an electric utility operating and control computer systems similar to the responsibilities of an Electric Technology Systems Technician with the City of Roseville.
AND
Training:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with course work in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field. Four (4) years of additional related work experience can substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
Preferable: Possession of a Global Industrial Control Security Professional (GICSP) certification by date of appointment and/or possession of a Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA) certification by date of appointment.
License or Certificate
Possession of a valid California driver's license by date of appointment.

SELECTION PROCESS
All candidates meeting the minimum qualifications will have their application scored in a Formula Rate Examination. The applicant's experience and education will be evaluated using a pre-determined formula. Scores from this evaluation will determine applicant ranking and placement on the Employment List. Supplemental questions will be utilized by the department hiring authority to make interview and selection determinations.
Final appointment is contingent upon a check of past employment references, passing a City-paid fingerprint check, and depending on the position applied for, a pre-employment medical exam, drug and alcohol screening test, credit check, license and/or education verification, psychological examination, and/or an extensive Police Department background check process.
