What You’ll Do

As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll be an architect of exceptional user experiences for our collaborative enterprise software projects working with cross-functional team members and leadership. You'll translate complex features into beautifully designed and differentiated intuitive interfaces, ensuring users can utilize the software with ease. Your influence goes beyond individual projects – your contributions will help influence the future of our design language. What You Bring

You’ll bring a wealth of expertise and passion for crafting exceptional user experiences, excel in leading design projects, collaborating with teams to create user experience solutions that are nest level. Your deep understanding of design principles coupled with your ability to craft compelling design solutions will influence the infusion of user-centered design contributions as part of the SAP ecosystem. With a keen eye for innovation and a knack for fostering collaboration across disciplines, you’ll drive the delivery of new experiences that will usher in higher standards of design in enterprise software.

Expectations and tasks

Visualize experience concepts through the creation of wireframes, design mockups, journey maps, process flows, and prototypes

Analyze user needs and gather requirements across multiple product experiences to understand the dependencies for a common experience solution

Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams and design leadership

Work with design representatives across various lines of business to produce strategy of experience concepts to final solution

Build relationships and collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams such as Design, UX Research, Product Management, Engineering

Present and justify proposed solutions and articulate design with key stakeholders

Utilize design research or user testing insights to help inform and improve upon the overall experience direction and validation of solution

Document UI specifications and patterns that outlines the rules and guidance for experiences delivered along with refinements when necessary

About You

7+ years of experience in UX and product design

A strong portfolio showcasing foundational understanding of UX and UI design, thought process and how you've contributed to solving specific problems with functional designs

Experience working with cross-functional teams – partnering with product and development to oversee the user experience from conception to launch

Ability to think long-and short-term to meet the constraints of product and experience needs while iterating toward a future vision

Keen ability to grasp complexity quickly and to focus on key issues

Clear communication skills and ability to present your work to internal stakeholders at different design stages and support your decisions

Experience with prototyping to explore and convey design solutions

Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Figma, Mural, Adobe suite, etc...)

Self-guided and motivated to learn new tools and techniques

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 117300 - 199300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
