DIRECT MARKETING SPECIALIST
The Direct Marketing Specialist assists the marketing team with ongoing and future campaigns by occupying a pivotal role in campaign operations. They are responsible for ensuring the Team has the resources needed to meet campaign demands and avoid potential delays or quality issues that could hinder campaign effectiveness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Specific deliverables currently include testing data compilation, direct mail market research and administrative support for centralizing DM operations.
Execute the daily operational and processes associated with the revenue generation, execution, performance, and expense management of the direct mail response programs by implementing campaign strategies to achieve desired goals and objectives.
Serve as a liaison between the strategy team and campaign development teams, collaborating to ensure appearance and messages are aligned with strategy and manage production coordination. Reviewing art proofs to ensure alignment with campaign strategy.
Ensure campaign processes continue according to the Mail Production Schedule, and all deliverables and deadlines are met for each campaign. This will include scheduling campaign level meetings: segmentation, creative and production.
Serve as backup to other Specialists on team, shifting help due to biggest need. In addition, supports entire team with tactical, administrative type functions.
Research and compile campaign information, including strategy notes and numerical data, into Powerpoint, Excel and Word documents
Provide support for strategy leaders by attending campaign strategy meetings, taking detailed notes and distributing follow-up meeting notes as needed
Review campaign schedule at the beginning of each week and plan work schedule in advance in order to meet deadlines
Organize and maintain strategy related documents both digitally and in our physical samples closet
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS A rapid learner with an eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with others
1-2 years experience, minimum, in a similar role or position.
High attention to detail
History of consistently meeting deadlines, adhering to project schedules and ensuring deliverables.
Software Requirements: Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
