Our client, a complex, highly entrepreneurial, global company, is seeking an individual interested in stepping into a highly collaborative tax function and positioning themselves for succession in the future. This role will initially assume leadership over the tax operations functions of the department. It will later expand its scope to include research and planning, M&A, etc., to prepare someone to step into the head of the tax role in the future.

Ideal Candidate Traits:
Minimum of 12-15 years of tax experience, with at least 8-10 years of corporate tax provision and operations experience, including hands-on preparation of provisions and returns, and at least 4-6 years of exposure to tax structuring and implementation of M&A activities
Experience with global consolidated tax provisions for a public company
Tax compliance experience
with international/outbound tax matters (expertise not required)
to partnership and international tax provisions and compliance
Desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented environment
Appetite for innovation and technology solutions to streamline processes and reduce risk
Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present to Senior Management and communicate effectively to non-tax colleagues
Intellectually curious self-starter with an orientation toward continual process improvement and commitment to the delivery of consistently high-quality work product
Able to adapt and change gears quickly
