A Week in the life of a Project Manager/Task Lead:
Lead teams supporting budget execution, financial management, and business management
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for financial, budget, and business management
Present findings, reports, and presentations to executive-level staff
Gather information and performance data for monthly deliverables
Assist in knowledge management capture and transfer
Manage a team's workload to meet deadlines and deliverables
Prioritize and complete tasks as needed while also balancing long-term projects and initiatives
Provide expertise in the Navy PPBE and POM Development process
Assist in developing position descriptions and recruiting for open positions on their task team
Review and prepare major deliverables for contract staff
Stay abreast of industry best practices for improving team processes and methodologies
Job Requirements
Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
At least 15+ years relevant experience in:
Navy Financial Management (FM)
SME-level experience in Budgeting, Briefing, and Defense at the Chief of Naval Operations and Congressional levels
Communication and Briefing Skills at the SES/Flag Level
