Technology Department PositionReports to: Executive Director of TechnologyPurpose: This position will work in conjunction with the Rowan Salisbury School System's technology department.Qualifications:Graduate from a two-year college or technical school with coursework in electronics and computers and (1-3 years) experience; or high school diploma or equivalency and an equivalent combination of training and experienceThe following certifications are desired but not mandatory: A+, Net+, Security+, ACMT; iOS Certified, CCNA, MCSEApplicants will be asked to complete a skills test as part of the interview process. The skills test is used to assess each applicant's proficiency with hardware / software.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:MDM Solutions(s)Mac OS-iOS Devices – Windows OSMS OfficeSoftware ApplicationsLAN/WANImaging Solutions (Mac and PC)Network PrintersWireless AP'sScriptingKey Duties and Responsibilities:Configures, repairs, maintains and upgrades technology-related equipment, including but not limited to Apple IOS and OSX devices, Windows, imaging and mobile device management software.Communicates with employees and management in a timely and professional manner.Provides support to users by phone and email using remote support tools.Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, troubleshooting skills and attention to details are required to work within the department and school environment.Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.Uses a web-based work-order tracking system for routine repair and maintenance of equipment.Assists in researching new technology and provide input on new standards.Attends classes and seminars to enhance knowledge of equipment and operating systems.Term of Employment: 12 months in accordance with the Rowan-Salisbury School Board calendar
