About The Role

Join our close-knit team as a Senior Software Engineer and embark on an exciting journey filled with challenging and rewarding projects. You'll work on projects that offer a wealth of opportunities for creativity and problem-solving, using technologies like C#/.NET Core, JavaScript/Node.js, and cloud services. Design and develop software applications. Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.

Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.

Coordinates with DevOps Engineers to improve CI/CD and deliver solutions.

Collaborate with the engineering team to develop a shared technology roadmap based on business needs.

Research new technologies, advancements and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments and enhance the success of the company.

Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code

Lead the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards.

Design, maintain, and implement automated test cases for functional, API, load, and end-to-end tests.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5-year's work in website/software developer, engineer or related position.

Knowledge of modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices in the financial services industry.

Advanced C#/.NET/.Net Core.

Proficient in JavaScript/Node.js.

Advanced knowledge of ORM's such as Entity Framework, Dapper or Bookshelf.js.

Experience with AWS cloud offerings such as Lambda, API Gateway, Event Bridge, App Sync, Aurora, S3, CloudFront, and Azure Active Directory.

Strong experience with SQL databases preferably SQL Server including schema design and optimization.

Experience creating and consuming REST and SOAP APIs with strong knowledge of REST standards

Proficient with at least one front-end framework such as React.js/Vue.js/Angular with a preference on Vue.js.

Automated unit test and integration test experience. Able to evaluate and implement testing strategies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent follow-up.

Able to lead projects by defining requirements, building projects tasks and conducting capacity planning/time estimates.

COMPENSATION

$95,00.00-$130,000.00/ year
