US Divisional Field Development Director Mission & Authority Empowering staff and volunteers to engage generous mission communities who steward God’s resources to fulfill and sustain the mission of Young Life.
Essential Duties: Development
Oversee Global Field Development services offered to and focused on two US Young Life divisions.
Provide Global Field Development services that include but are not limited to equipping, coaching, and consulting activities.
Work in partnership and in service to field leadership at all levels, mission service teams, and other various stakeholders.
Learn and provide practical expertise in Young Life’s Relationship Centered Engagement (RCE) model through a variety of delivery methods including onsite and virtual.
Raise personal donor support as a role model and participant in the collaborative funding efforts of the Global Field Development dept.
Administration
Communicate the relevant information for RCE and field financial health with all parties including field leadership, mission services teams, and other stakeholders.
Be a key contributor to enhancing and updating all Global Field Development resources.
Monitor and report on all Global Field Development activity and results monthly to provide the progress of specific initiatives and metrics in the assigned divisions, regions, and areas.
Participate significantly in understanding, operating, and evaluating a wide range of technological systems and tools to remain relevant and practical in the implementation of RCE.
Job-Specific Working Conditions
This position is intended for coverage of the Northwest Division (Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyomning) and Southwest Division (Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and New Mexico). The right candidate ideally lives within these territories, but willing to talk more to a candidate outside of this geography.
Travel as needed within the assigned divisions and across the US.
Live within the geography of the assigned divisions.
This position has an anticipated salary range of $71,397-$97,570 annually depending on the relevant experience and education.
The fundraising goal is $40,000 per year.

Qualifications: Education
BA degree required.
Experience Required for the Job
Extensive Young Life knowledge
Proven competency and effectiveness with equipping, coaching, and consulting
Extensive fundraising experience
Able to carry out the duties of the position
Financial competency with budgeting, tracking, numbers and technology
Able to give spiritual leadership
Able to effectively manage the operational aspects of a multiple division office
Able to work effectively with all field staff, volunteer committees and their supervisors
Able to work effectively as a team member within the larger Development Department
