As a Roblox Game Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and immersive Roblox games.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to create and implement game mechanics, systems, and features
Design levels, environments, and characters for Roblox games
Create and iterate on game design documents
Balance gameplay mechanics and adjust difficulty levels to ensure an enjoyable player experience
Test and debug games to identify and fix issues
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in Roblox game design
Work within project timelines and meet project milestones
Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other team members to bring game ideas to life
Requirements
Proven experience as a game designer, preferably with experience designing games on Roblox
Proficient in scripting languages, such as Lua
Strong understanding of game development principles and mechanics
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of player psychology
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Benefits
SALARY RANGE
• $15/hour-$30/hour
LOCATION/SCHEDULE
This role can be based in the Los Angeles office or remote. This position is generally operating during West Coast hours M-F 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
