Position Overview:
Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Senior Programmer/Web Developer based in Houston. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing user-centered designs for the County’s websites and web applications.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions (versions include SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2019).
Manage SharePoint architecture and security models effectively.
Utilize SharePoint Online, Office 365, Teams, and Azure platforms.
Implement solutions using Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, and IIS.
Employ Agile software development methodologies like Scrum or XP.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders through strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Utilize Microsoft Office products proficiently.
Familiarity or willingness to learn ShareGate and InfoWise Ultimate Forms.
Preferred Skills: Experience with PowerShell scripting.
Familiarity with PowerPlatform, including PowerApps and Power Automation flows.
Qualifications: Hands-on experience in developing and delivering SharePoint solutions.
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and security models.
Proficiency in SharePoint Online, Office 365, Teams, and Azure platforms.
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, and IIS.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
