About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Office Director to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the office director, with responsibilities including managing, coaching, and hiring new employees, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring high morale. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding an efficient workplace and will be dedicated to producing high-quality work that positively impacts communities. Supervising employee and project performance, as well as collaborating with other offices to build and lead a talented local team, are also key aspects of the position.Candidates for the Deputy Office Director role should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning, or a related field, and possess extensive experience in project management and business development. Professional Engineer (PE) or AICP certification is preferred. Advanced knowledge of roadway and/or transportation design, as well as familiarity with landscape architecture, urban design, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures, are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities, and must be willing to travel throughout the state of Florida to develop and serve clients.
