As a designer, you are responsible for crafting experiences that solve problems people struggle with every day, and helping build new partner focused experiences through informed iterative design. You can demonstrate a breadth of design experience leveraging your ability to create delightfully simple experiences that simplify our customers’ checkout experience through Affirm and our closest partners. You partner well with design leadership, design research, and content design. You are able to work closely with Product and Engineering to tailor unique customer experiences for our merchants that are ‘powered by Affirm’, while ensuring cohesion to the core Affirm experience - championing our customers needs no matter where their journey starts.
What You'll Do
Design end-to-end flows and product experiences for web/mobile applications that shape our consumer checkout and product ecosystems
Create end-to-end detailed design deliverables including experience maps, storyboards, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
Work through complex and ambiguous situations to clarify and focus design direction
Support through prioritization of short-term to long-term results-oriented work that drives impact
Partner closely with research, content, and product management, to identify opportunities to invest in delightful experiences during all design stages
Leverage design principles and frameworks to guide your decisions
What We Look For
2+ years experience in consumer product/ux design focused roles
Strong, thoughtful approach to the craft of design informed by user needs
Knows how to hold a bar for design craft and shipping to learn
Self-sufficient and uses leadership and peers to seek out feedback early and often
Ability to improve the culture of the team and cross-functional partnerships
Familiar working with and contributing to a design system
A demonstrated portfolio of your work thinking strategically across multiple consumer experiences and shipping successful in-app/web experiences in a fast-paced environment. (Required)

Min: $121,000
Mid: $148,300
Max: $ $175,500
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year:
Min: $108,900
Mid: $133,400
Max: $157,900
