Steampunk wants you to join our team as a Program Manager to support the design and implementation of mission systems improvements and modernization for a federal client. This includes the documentation of the security strategy, planning, and architecture, which will lead to the eventual build-out of the solution.
**Contributions**
As a **Program Manager** , you will be the leader, driving deliveryin a government client consulting environment. You will be a client manager, coach, mentor, and an accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading deployments of solutions in a client environment.
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Serving as the technical delivery leader, accountable for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight and client acceptance
+ Managing the P/L of their portfolio
+ Fostering and promoting innovative thinking across the client environment
+ Building and maintaining client relationships, developing a strategic vision for clients and internal teams
+ Handling challenging client situations and offering technical and business guidance & direction to client executives
+ Managing staff and monitoring performance and training needs to create skills expansion and career advancement opportunities
**Qualifications**
**Requirements:**
+ US Citizen
+ Ability to get Federal Clearance
+ Leadership. If you don't know the difference between that and management, this just isn't going to work out.
+ Located in Washington DC Metro Area (hybrid / limited travel)
+ 5+ Years working in technology
+ 5+ Years leading in consulting services
+ 7+ Years total experience
+ Proven experience of leading the deployment of enterprise and custom Software solutions in client environments
+ Demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems
+ Proven experience growing and selling while delivering
+ Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
+ Proven team player and team builder
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills
+ Experience working with Human Center Design
+ Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and a proven background in consulting and project management
Preferred:
+ PMP, Scrum Master certification preferred
+ Federal Clearance Prefered
