Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code

OR equivalent experience.

3+ years experience with Unity, Unreal, or other game engine

3+ years technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, and C#

Preferred Qualifications:

Able to collaborate with artists and engineers to define a roadmap for integrating new graphics technologies and debugging existing systems

Experience working as a bridge between art and engineering

Knowledge of real-time graphics techniques and shader authoring (HLSL, GLSL, or shader graphs)

Experience with Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and Central Processing Units (CPUs) profiling techniques to optimization graphics related workloads

Familiarity with 3D math concepts for graphics and games (linear algebra)

Aesthetic sense with an understanding of 3D content creation pipelines

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with artists to improve their efficiency in creating assets and achieving desired visual fidelity

Experience shipping multiple projects or products end to end

Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

UX Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.    Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
