CMIT Solutions is a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) franchisor delivering information technology and cybersecurity solutions to businesses. The company's locally owned franchise model enables CMIT to serve customers through high-trust, direct relationships. This position is with the corporate franchisor, a private-equity backed organization supporting independently-owned franchises located throughout the United States and Canada.
Position Summary:
As the IT Product Manager , you will deliver solutions that meet customer requirements commitments, product research, planning, marketing, and driving product revenue for the organization. The IT Product Manager will take leadership of a wide range of projects and systems from beginning to end, and will be the point person for planning, communication, and delivery of all architectural design, procurement, and implementation requirements of projects. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing products and requirements, defining the product vision, evaluating products that meet our system needs, ensuring our product margins are maintained, and working closely with the marketing department to deliver winning products.
What You'll Do:
Conduct market research to identify SMB IT market needs and trends
Assist with defining the product strategy and roadmap in remote monitoring management, backup and recovery, help desk, firewalls, cybersecurity, and cloud services that meet the needs of our franchising system while maximizing company revenue and profitability
Gather feedback from end-user customers and franchises
Work with the Director of Service Delivery, Corporate Store VP, and CEO in the Selection of Strategic Partners that meet the company's requirements
Develop and execute in-depth training for the product roll-outs, including qualifying questions, elevator pitches, product sales strategies, certifications, and client-facing marketing materials
Competitor Analysis - Be an expert regarding the competition - compare the company's products to competitors products to assess our differentiators
Work cross-functionally with teams to provide clear communication, business-based prioritization, and definition of precise scope and planning
Cultivate and work with external third-party strategic partners
Develop technical knowledge of the complete suite of managed services and cloud products in order to produce a complete value proposition for the franchises
Develop training materials for our product offerings & place them in our LMS
Measure and report on product revenue performance
Ensure we hit revenue targets for each product solution yearly
Test potential new products to ensure they meet our organization's requirements
Run business case pilot programs with early-stage products as approved by the organization.
Provide support on the product suite
Help with the content for the website, marketing materials, and educational training
Host FD and product webinars
Achieve revenue target for each solution yearly
What You Will Need: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Product Manager in Managed IT space
Experience developing/launching products & technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, Device Management, IaaS, SaaS, UCaaS, DaaS, internal tools, and/or complex supply chain networks
Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
Experience creating strategic product roadmaps, working with cross-functional team
AI experience implementing ChatGPT Enterprise into an organization to drive productivity efficiencies
Ability to own and deliver against business and financial goals
Ability to independently lead and influence senior leaders
Forward-thinking and systematic in approach
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to deliver clear messages to a wide variety of audiences
Strong analytical skills to pull insights from quantitative and qualitative data sets.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
Bachelors degree
The IT Product Manager must possess clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and facilitate a diverse leadership team through the requirements-gathering process. Must be a problem solver with the initiative to think critically and identify improvement opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, is detail-oriented, and will have outstanding time management and planning skills.
