6+ years of enterprise product design experience preferably in software design

6+ years of experience working with product managers and engineering teams with initial product definition and ongoing product evolution and execution

2+ years of leading major product design initiatives with medium to high complexity

Degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field

Responsibilities You will lead product design for major areas of our Higher Education suite of products

You'll own the full design process, from partnering with product management and UX research on initial research and product definition, through concepting, crafting detailed designs, prototyping, testing, and working with engineering on implementation

This role involves both work on new as well as on established products and features, which will allow you to spend time thinking about the bigger picture across products while shipping concrete things to customers and end-users

You'll partner with other designers to improve the quality of your designs and theirs, and continue your growth as a designer

Be an ambassador for UX, a mentor for other designers, and champion for the design culture at Workday

You will help define Workday global design patterns and UX best practices
