Accounting Associate

Experience with MS Excel required (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Formulas)
Responsibilities Review and approve employee expense reports in accordance with the Company’s global travel policy
Work with employees across the organization to ensure proper compliance, provide guidance on travel policy, collect pre-approvals or missing receipts
Manage users and administer travel systems, act as main point of contact for travel related inquiries and system administration
Manage credit card program including review of employee credit card receipts, statements, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly employee expenses and credit card reconciliations and related journal entries
Participate in quarterly and annual financial audits including interaction with external and internal auditors
Assist accounting department with journal entries
Assist with other varied activities and ad-hoc analyses as required
The salary range for this position is $53,000 – $80,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance
Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits

About this role:
CyberArk Software is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate who will support the accounting department as well as take full ownership of the Employee Travel & Expense reimbursement and Credit Card processes for a fast-growing public company.
What you will do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Review and approve employee expense reports in accordance with the Company’s global travel policy
• Work with employees across the organization to ensure proper compliance, provide guidance on travel policy, collect pre-approvals or missing receipts.
• Manage users and administer travel systems, act as main point of contact for travel related inquiries and system administration.
• Manage credit card program including review of employee credit card receipts, statements, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly employee expenses and credit card reconciliations and related journal entries.
• Participate in quarterly and annual financial audits including interaction with external and internal auditors.
• Assist accounting department with journal entries.
• Assist with other varied activities and ad-hoc analyses as required.
What you need to succeed:
• The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Prior experience with travel reimbursement systems and/or credit card administration highly preferred
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player willing to work independently as well as cross-functionally
• Attention to detail and ability to recognize and resolve discrepancies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Experience with MS Excel required (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Formulas)
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is a plus
