Your role in our team

You will work under the guidance of software architects to develop software, in both migration of existing software and creation of new software for existing and exciting new projects in our Mail sortation division. The primary development environment is Microsoft Visual Studio 2022

You will learn and assist in the entire life cycle of projects, from requirements engineering to final deployment

You will work with test engineers to assist and experience how the completed software works in the live environment of mail processing

You will be involved in database migration and other modernization projects

You will be part of a high-performing, multi-site, and multi-program team

You will be responsible for all phases of developing software for various platforms

You will work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Your profile You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

You have experience with C#, C/C++ (required)

You have experience with Windows or Linux development

You have familiarity with a source control software packages such as DevOps, GitHub, etc.

You have database migration experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Cassandra

You have 3+ years of software development experience (required)

You have an active sensitive security clearance or are able to obtain

You are willing to travel (up to 25%)

You have good oral and verbal communication, reporting, and writing skills

You will work locally in Irving, TX, in a hybrid work environment
