We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to work in San Antonio, TX supporting our client.
Clearance: Secret
Salary: $94,000
Job Duties:
Current Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 4 + years of related experience. Additional related IT experience may substitute for a degree.
Minimum of 4 years experience working as a System Administrator
Minimum of 3 years experience working with VMware utilization technologies
Minimum of 2 years experience working with Microsoft System Administration including lodging scripting ,Group Policy objects (GPO's) and Windows servers roles including DHCP, DNS and active directory.
Minimum of 2 years experience with SAN storage.
Knowledge of Linux system administration including lodging .
Knowledge of Microsoft Server, System Administration and Troubleshooting.
Knowledge of essentials for IT security and security administration.
Knowledge of Networking essentials
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
Active DoD SECRET clearance
Cisco ASA Firewall knowledge: STP, VLANS, Trunking, Static / Dynamic routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF)
Knowledge of F5 Big IP Devices, Juniper Firewalls, and Cisco switches
Experience with Cisco Voice platforms, Call Manager, Unity, VOIP gateway, SIP, PRI's, Dialing plans, and Cisco Unified Boundary Element (CUBE)
Knowledge of advanced networking techniques: port aggregation, IPSEC, L2TP/VPN. IPS route- maps and capture filters
Experience providing technical problem resolution for complex network infrastructure problems or anomalies.
Experience operating or sustaining an Enterprise level architecture where users are located at multiple sites.
Experience providing technical resolution with customers at remote sites.
Must have Security + certification Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CISCO Identity Services Engine
VMWare Certified Professional Certification
Experience with PowerShell scripting and Networking.
Experience with clustering.
Experience with Windows Deployment Services (WDS)
Knowledge of complex configuration management techniques and requirements appropriate to manage base level network systems.
CCNA/CCNP Professional Certification

Job Duties: Maintain Responsibility for Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide AreaNetworks(WAN) policies
Design and Monitor new complex systems
Configure, test, document, maintain, administer, and operate a variety of voice and data network protocol standards and a broad range of devices such as the Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), VMware/ESXi virtualization, F5 traffic management, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco Routers and Switches, Juniper Firewalls and Linux/Windows servers along with other technologies.
Configure and install systems hardware or software and maintain server and domain security requirements.
Solve complex networking and administration issues and use critical thinking to support network functionality along side Network Administrators.
Plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems and applications software
Manage accounts , network rights , access to systems and equipment and implement security procedures and tools.
Resolve hardware and software interface and interoperability problems.
Ensures systems availability , functionality , integrity and efficiency.
Maintain systems configuration and mange the installation and integration of system fixes, upgrades and enhancements .
Perform feasibility studies on complex information systems and conduct in-depth analysis complicated by novel problems.
Participate in Management meetings, discussions , committees and special projects
