Job Description:
Our Senior Director of Product Management, P&L plays a pivotal leadership role, responsible for overseeing the financial performance of our products, including revenue, costs, and profitability. Responsibilities encompass strategic product decision-making, effective cost management, and revenue optimization – all aimed at ensuring product financial health and long-term success.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute end-to-end strategies for our products including identifying target customer segments, product portfolio strategies, and roadmap.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product strategies aligned with business goals. Identify growth opportunities and cost-saving measures.
Own and manage the financial performance of our product portfolio. Monitor revenue, costs, and margins to ensure profitability.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to optimize pricing models. Balance revenue generation with customer value.
Develop and maintain product budgets. Track expenses, forecast revenue, and recommend adjustments as needed.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product profitability. Present regular reports to senior leadership.
Evaluate risks associated with product decisions. Mitigate financial risks and manage trade-offs in product investments.
Drive product investments and business cases. Collaborate with product teams on roadmaps and key market deliverables.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 8+ years of experience in product management, finance, or related roles at a Senior Lead and/or Chief of Staff level, preferably in a fast-paced private equity and SaaS environment.
Proven track record of successful end-to-end SaaS product management in a global or mid-market focused B2B environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development processes.
Strong technical acumen and knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong proficiency in product profitability, analysis, and modeling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
A strong presenter with ability to command an audience.
Strong managerial skills, including team development and leadership.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
