Thriving full service financial firm seeks Tax Manager Level Accountant. This position is located in King of Prussia and requires 7 - 10 years of experience. Primary duties include providing technical review in areas such as partnership, corporate, and individual tax returns or estates, individual and business tax preparation, bookkeeping, auditing and other financial functions.
Duties:
-This full-time, exempt position will report to the Company Shareholders’ and will primarily perform ongoing technical review of all tax returns, provide open communication to all staff to promote a positive learning environment, oversees learning opportunities for staff and provides technical tax guidance to maximize professional development, Participates and manages a variety of client engagements; planning, executing and completing tax and accounting projects, consults with clients on operational and control opportunities, assist in the training and development of staff, as well as prepare annual individual and business tax returns.
The Tax Manager will be responsible for performing accurate and timely work and meeting all associated deadlines. Other duties as required to meet ongoing client needs.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, including federal, state, and local tax filings
- Provide guidance and expertise on tax planning strategies and opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Provide technical accounting guidance to clients and internal teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Active CPA license
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Experience in QuickBooks, Lacerte or similar accounting program preferred.
- Ability to modify work hours and schedule as needed to meet demands such as during tax season.
- Ability to work independently, strong analytical and organizational skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff and clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop staff and provide guidance to closely held clients.

This is a full-time position including modified work schedule during tax preparation season. Requires the ability to sit/stand/walk up to 8 hours plus per day. Ability to lift/carry up to 10lbs.
