Overview
Connected Play is a suite of digital products that enable the modernization of the lottery retail play experience. These products include lottery mobile apps, digital play slips, mobile ticket checkers, mobile prize claims, second chance sweepstakes, player registration, etc.
The Product Owner, Connected Play, works as a core team member, determining customer and player requirements. This position applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to designing, developing, and delivering applications through requirements management. The BA leads the effort to gather product, customer, and market requirements and works closely with the product owners and product managers to support the assimilation and evolution of IGT's products and services. The Product Owner provides guidance to the team throughout the project life cycle.
Reports to the Head of Connected Play Product Management.
Location:
This position is based in IGT's offices in Rhode Island (West Greenwich or Providence).
Responsibilities
Provide leadership to product management and technology team members to ensure seamless integration of business requirements with product functionality throughout the project lifecycle
Demonstrate competence with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), requirements management, and other associated methodologies
Anticipate, elicit, analyze, understand, validate, coordinate, document, and manage the business and functional requirements associated with assigned products
Document use cases.
Lead groups in analyzing, designing and implementing solutions to business requirements
Support the implementation of large-scale solutions and processes and clearly articulate the related technical and data architecture concepts
Document, analyze, and interpret sophisticated business policies and processes
Identify and manage issues and risks related to requirements and devise strategies to address them in a proactive manner
Manage change control for the full project requirement set after approval so that change requests are logged, tracked, assessed, and implemented in a controlled and traceable manner.
Conduct independent research and synthesize findings
Lead requirements workshops with project collaborators
Perform gap analyses, analyze results, determine how to address gaps, and verify recommendations with technical team members
Manage the business analysis effort related to the definition, documentation, design, development, and implementation of large or technically complex systems or enhancements and their associated environments
Lead all aspects of creation or build project-specific Business Analysis Plans and update them as the need arises
Manage workload to ensure all tasks and assignments are completed accurately and on time
Present information effectively to customers and respond in a timely, accurate manner
Manage data via Requirements Management Tool(s) and perform traceability tasks
Assume additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications
BS or BA degree
4+ years experience working on requirements for mobile/web applications
Advanced proficiency and experience with the following, ideally with mobile/web products: Requirements (Business, User, Functional and Non-functional, etc.), Requirements Management Tools, Product Development, Process workflow development
Able to build strong customer relationships
Able to function in a fast-paced environment
Highly developed analytical skills and creativity to develop solutions to business issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to bridge communication between technical staff, non-technical staff, and customers;
Able to deliver engaging presentations and demonstrate strong facilitation skills

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
