Description The Director of Employee Education directs the design, planning and implementation of corporate training programs.
Directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate training programs aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company
Collaborates with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs
Develops a program delivery schedule that provides training as needed and in locations that work for the participants
Provides engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training
Through needs assessments, identifies learning solutions and programs
Approves new training techniques and suggest enhancements to existing training programs
Oversees and establishes relationships with vendors to provide additional outside training programs
Manages and develops training professionals
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Business or related experience
5+ years management experience and training/facilitating experience; instructional design experience; experience with implementing training programs in a high-volume environment and conducting needs analysis and back-end analytics to measure success
Skills:
Preferred proficiency in BAI, as well as, other LMS platforms; Microsoft including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; basic keyboarding and calculator skills' must be able to perform simple math and carry out written instructions
Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.
