Our non-profit client is looking for a senior communications & media relations manager to join their team full time! This role has an initial term of 1 year, but has the potential to become a permanent need. It is also hybrid, with 2-3 days onsite in Kirkland, WA. In this role you will: - travel with the high profile founder of the non-profit for media events both international and domestic - develop the 2025 strategy to shape the founders public reputation - work with the client's PR agency, executing communication strategy based on their research - give feedback and prepare the founder - book events and media relations activities - work with top tier media groups like NPR and the NY Times The ideal Senior Communications & Media Relations Manager will have: - 10+ years of experience - experience working with someone who is high profile (thing CEOs of fortune 500 companies, celebrities with large followings, etc.) - Media relations experience with media groups like NPR and the NY Times - experience working with a mix of agency and corporate clients - international media relations experience is a BONUS Our client offers medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees can enroll in the companys 401k plan, as well as a deferred compensation plan. Employees will also receive eight hours of vacation leave every month and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will be able to purchase company stock, are eligible for annual bonuses, and can participate in profit sharing.
