Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
•Five years of relevant work experience in strategizing and managing UI/UX projects, implementing design and enhanced user experience on web applications through design process: ability to take and incorporate feedback into design iterations, prototype development, and modification with the understanding of design principles, usability, and user-centered design.
•Five years of proficiency and understanding of design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping. Ability to implement new design trends, tools, and technologies. Familiarity with front-end development technologies and coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) can be a plus.
•Serve as design strategist to District's One Enrollment project and develop design strategy for application development.
•Manage and develop design prototypes using interactive wireframes (low to mid fidelity) with emerging designs aligned with digital innovation, resolving complex business workflow, using District's design mission.
•Collaborate with project stakeholders and vendors to effectively promote innovative design and user experience.
•Prepare detailed documentation on all aspects of the integrated enterprise design strategy.
•Provides support to One Enrollment project's development team.
•Collaborate and maintain effective relationships with District staff and system development teams as needed.
Desirable Qualifications:
•Experience in strategizing and managing UI/UX projects (preferably in the education sector)
•Experience in strategic design of online web applications.
•Experience in developing and managing design processes with project leads, focus groups, etc.
•Implementation of design solutions for complex business workflows
•Understanding of data systems and design
•Development of screen mock-ups and prototypes using interactive wireframes
