The Role
Arta is seeking an experienced Product / UX Designer to join our talented Bay Area HQ. You’ll play a key role in developing new experiences in consumer finance for an emergent investing class. You’ll join Arta’s small but seasoned in-house design team crafting our ever simpler, more beautiful, and intuitive web and mobile experiences. You’ll collaborate directly with local Product Management, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Member Success teams to build the future of the digital family office.
What You Will Do
Design user journeys that simplify financially and technically complex requirements into clean, usable, interfaces
Design and deliver end-to-end features of large, and often ambiguous, scope
Craft new experiences or layouts that evolve Arta’s existing visual and interaction patterns
Foster collaborative, high-trust working relationships with Product Managers, Engineering, and Financial Researchers both collocated and remote
Drive cross-functional alignment on requirements or constraints that impact end-user experience
Solicit and incorporate feedback from users and broader team of colleagues to sustain and raise Arta’s high bar of product excellence
Contribute to development of internal/external communications around key features alongside Marketing, Compliance, and Member Success Teams
Who You Are
You have 3+ years of experience designing both web and mobile products and can bring best-practices of both platform and form-factor to your craft
You have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience
You are proficient in Figma, html, photoshop, adobe, etc
You can work autonomously while collaborating closely with cross-functional peers (product managers, marketing, etc) located in the US and Singapore
You are driven by product and user-based principals with an ability to make design decisions even when faced with a lack of data or research
You are willing to work from our Mountain View office at least 3 times per week for in-person collaboration

Arta's Compensation Philosophy
We determine your level based on factors including your interview performance, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our offers are based on salary bands that are updated periodically using market benchmarks and consider geographic location as well (for example, higher cost regions like San Francisco or New York). If you are presented with an offer, we will review the base salary, benefits, number of options, notional option value and strike price. We would like to know if you accept our offer within 7 days.
Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.
IC I: $110,000-$180,000
IC II: $160,000-$230,000
IC III: $180,000-$300,000
