Compensation : $57,000 - $68,000 +$3,000 Sign On Bonus
Licensure Requirements : Colorado Clinical or provisional licensure is required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) (LPCC, LSW, MFTC) if you are licensed in another state, you must be able to transfer your license to Colorado before your start date.
About The Role
As a family therapist at Sandstone Care, you will be responsible for: Supporting our clients through individual and family therapy sessions, using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
Facilitating multi-group therapy across multiple populations, such as young adults, adolescents, parents, and siblings, using topics such as coping skills, communication, boundaries, and relapse prevention.
Working with a multidisciplinary team and other therapists, to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Documenting and reporting on client progress, treatment plans, and discharge plans, using electronic health records and other tools.
Participating in ongoing training and supervision
Qualifications Licensed Clinician: Hold a master's degree in a relevant field and possess the required Colorado licensure, such as (LPC, LCSW, LMFT - Provisional Licenses like LPCC, LMSW, MFTC will also be considered).
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Experience: Bring prior experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, with a preference for expertise in family therapy.
Crisis Management Skills: Proficient in providing vital support to clients during moments of crisis, armed with effective verbal de-escalation techniques. All direct care staff must be CPR certified prior to beginning employment
Collaborative Attitude: Embrace the role of a team player and actively engage in our mission to foster positive change.
Group Facilitation: Feel at ease facilitating groups ranging from 15 to 30 people.
Relevant Experience: 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
