Credit Services Representative II

Provide customer service to the Bank's members and housing associates handling Municipal, Stand-by letters of credit, , on-line entitlements, and mergers.
Process and verify entry of Letters of Credit requests including Municipal Letters of Credit with members
Contribute to memos to Manager with project/job status/details.
Create advance, letter of credit and Funding Agreement, Process Global Authorization Forms / corresponding entitlements for all related systems and administer entitlements for 1Link and 1Link SK.
Essential Duties
Perform data entry and verify transactions into Bank EDP systems that meet credit criteria for Letters of Credit.
Responsible for taking action for Credit Services ("CS") upon member related mergers including to ensure all proper documentation is received.
Process Stand-by Letters of Credit and cover Municipal Letters of Credit including all letter of credit transactions [draws, transfers, amendments, and renewals]
Review and assist to keep up to date Procedures and ensure SOX controls are up to date.
Generate reports / execute data queries via Excel, assist with Special Data Requests fulfillments with the FHFA.
Perform various reconciliation processes (start and end of day) including any pertinent GL accounts.
Prepare and review credit documentation.
Assist in the coordination and resolution of member mergers and account closings.
Assist with merger coordination when necessary to cover vacations - monitoring alerts (secondary check to membership Coordinator), create Account Resolution Letter based on business unit input, coordinate with acquiring institution rep, and coordinate post-merger activities up to and including account closure(s).
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Experience
Four years plus in a similar role with a financial institution. Knowledge of financial markets and proficient with PCs (spreadsheets, databases).
Skills
Excellent communication skills / customer service. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Detailed oriented and ability to multi-task to work in a. fast paced, team environment.
Education
BA or BS in business administration or finance, comparable work experience will be considered.
Salary Range:
$75,000 to $90,000
