Energy & Infrastructure Associate – Washington, DC
Washington, DC, United States
Annual salary range: $260,000 – $390,000
We are looking to speak with project finance and infrastructure associate attorneys to join our client’s Energy practice in their Washington, D.C office.
This firm is known for its collaborative culture. “The firm genuinely cares about your family, your extracurriculars, and your day-to-day,” one interviewee gushed. “When things are hard, no one’s afraid to speak up and say, ‘I have a little too much on my plate at the moment,’ and people understand.”
You will advise private equity houses and infrastructure funds on domestic and cross-border M&A. You will represent financial investors through all stages of the investment cycle across a range of infrastructure sectors, including highly regulated transactions. You will advise sponsors and lenders on financial, corporate and commercial contracts across the energy sector.
Billable Hours target: No requirement or target
Across the firm more generally, “no one stresses about a billable target. No one’s saying you need to bill, bill, bill!” Indeed: there’s no minimum amount of hours that associates must reach to become bonus eligible
