Thayer Power & Communication Line Construction Co., LLC is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our growing team.This position will be based in our Pataskala, OH office.
Position Overview: Thayer Power and Communication is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to ensure day-to-day management of our warehouse facility. The Warehouse Manager will ensure inventory accuracy and control of work materials for the operation of the organization.
Job Duties/Responsibilities :
Planning, assignment and direction of daily warehouse operations.
Maintains up to date inventories and records.
Receiving products and unloading in a timely manner.
Purchase control for warehouse operations.
Distribution and delivery of materials for field jobs.
Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse.
Maintains and develops a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all associates.
Understand, follow, and uphold all safety expectations.
Ensure warehouse space is utilized effectively and kept clean and orderly.
Execute company policies and implement standardized processes as directed.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments.
Attention to internal and external complaints and problems.
Experience/Qualifications :
3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience is preferred.
Class A CDL.
Proficient with warehouse equipment including ability to run a forklift and pallet jacks
Strong Leadership and organizational skills required.
Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team.
