The Boeing Company is looking for a BMC3 Software Engineer (Associate/Experienced/Senior) for its location in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
This position will support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Satellite Systems Division specifically the RockNet Software Development Services (SDS) team.
This team is growing and needs a Full Stack Developer to support the development of CI/CD pipelines. The role will be supporting software development of our Nation’s newest systems for Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) programs.

The position requires a wide range of technical and project management skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders (customer, Boeing, supplier) to ensure the best value is delivered.
As a member of the team, you will be involved in the entire development life cycle, from idea creation and development, all the way through to maintenance and support of the customer’s delivered system. The BMC3 Software Engineer will perform as part of a high-performing team and have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative technology in an agile environment interfacing with internal and external stakeholders; to include customers, industry partnerships and various disciplines (software, systems administration, cybersecurity, configuration management).
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers.

Being able to leverage agile practices in defining project themes and epics, breakdown of capability requirements into backlog stories, understanding of Tech Docs, and support for transitioning application development towards unified mission management.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
This position requires an Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required), with the ability to obtain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance and program access (post start). (A U.S Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Minimum 1 year of experience working with React or Angular
Minimum 1 year of experience working with Node.js or Python
Minimum 1 year of experience working with MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
Minimum 1 year of experience working with containers and other cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Podman or Docker
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
3-5+ years of experience working with React or Angular
3-5+ years of experience working with Node.js or Python
3-5+ years of experience working with MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
3-5+ years of experience working with containers and other cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Podman or Docker
Familiar with a broad range of newer language such as Golang or Rust
Understanding of public cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Senior (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:
Associate (Level 2) $85,000 - $115,000
Experienced (Level 3) $104,550 - $141,450
Senior (Level 4) $122,400 - $165,600
