Software EngineerAs a Software Engineer, you will find new challenges and tasks that create high value for company. Serving as part of a global agile team you will develop and support enterprise applications and services. You will work closely with product owners, software architects and stakeholders at National Instruments.National Instruments is seeking a Software Engineer to join the ERP IT team. We design, implement, and sustain solutions enabling critical business functions of client's research and development departments, manufacturing engineering groups, and hardware services delivery operations. Our tech stack is deep and varied with the primary technologies being Java based APIs (on-premise and cloud), Oracle ERP and Applications Express (client), Tableau, Data Warehouse and Data Lake.Core Job ResponsibilitiesServe as part of an Agile product team, providing solutions to extend and enhance our applications and APIs.Partner with IT Architects, Analysts, Engineers, and Product Owners to provide technical and functional solutions. Collaborate with other development teams, infrastructure teams and business teams.Research and evaluate innovative technologies and tools. Analyze data and systems to propose and develop solutions.Execute software development and operations of on-prem and cloud solutions.Create technical documentation for software products and solutions.Basic QualificationsProficiency in programming languages e.g. Java, Python, SQLWorking experience in relational & non-relational databases2+ years of experience in software developmentStrong communication skills.Experience working in global agile teams.Ability to translate technical investments to business value to stakeholders.Proven ability to:Provide software solutions for complex business problemsWork independently and collaborate with minimal directionPrioritize work, multi-task, and quickly switch contextPreferred QualificationsExperience with:Enterprise Data Lake solutionsEnterprise Integration tools and design patternsDesigning applications and integrations for public cloud deploymentTest automation and CI/CD developmentWorking experience in APIs developmentFamiliarity with:Integrations between ERP, CRM, Data Platforms and Business Intelligence Analytics (BIA)Spring, Rancher, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerizationAWS, MongoDB/Atlas, Informatica Cloud, etc.Required Skills: Two major requirements here are 1) Informatica Cloud and 2) API Development. Can write in Python or Java. Looking for Enterprise Data Lake experience as well.Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: This is an exclusive REQ with very fast feedback. Manager will get back in town on Monday June 20th to review candidates and set up interviews. 12 month revolving contract and 100% remote.
