Job Description

Software EngineerSoftware Engineer NI is now the Test & Measurement (T&M) Business Unit of Emerson, and we are seeking an experienced Software Engineer for embedded and driver software products! As a member of a product team, developers collaborate frequently with product architects, product managers, and other software engineers to implement designs in an agile/scrum software development environment. In this role, your responsibilities will be:Deliver product features by participating in research, design, development, and documentation efforts.Collaborate with team members and project leaders on design discussions and code architecture.Specify, design, and implement new product features.Troubleshoot product defects and work with team to resolve successfully.Develop tests to ensure high code quality and catch future regressions.Peer review code changes submitted by other members of the team.Participate in team activities including standups, backlog reviews, retrospectives, and brainstorming sessions.Explore and apply new technologies to continually improve our infrastructure and processes.Who you are:You are passionate about technology and are dedicated to delivering a high-quality product to enable customer success.
