**Job Summary:**
Will promote a quality culture through teamwork and enforcing quality best practices.
**Job Duties:**
+ Support the Quality and Operations teams with quality best practices.
+ Complete startup / last article inspections
+ Audit / Inspect and report on in-process and manufactured products. (Finished Goods, Components and Supplied items).
+ Make decisions on the acceptability/non-acceptability of manufactured/packaged products.
+ Use defect categories critical / major / minor to make sound business decisions.
+ Contain all non-conforming product(s) to the last known “acceptable inspection point”.
+ Communicate non-conformance(s) and /or trending conditions to support teams.
+ **Act as the “Voice of Quality” and facilitate solutions in “real time” with the cross functional team.**
+ **Record inspection and audit results on internal documentation.**
+ **Perform inspection activities reporting on process and product performance.**
+ **Perform inspections of new product and FG product lots to defined AQL and sampling methods.**
+ **Provide follow up and verification activities in support of corrective actions and/or process adjustments.**
+ **Coach, train, and mentor the fundamentals of Quality to coworkers as needed.**
+ **Follow all safety guidelines.**
+ **Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.**
+ **Perform such individual assignments as management may direct.**

**Minimum Qualifications:**
**_Education_**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
**_Experience/Knowledge_**
+ **Must be self-motivated and be able to prioritize issues as they occur.**
+ **Basic computer and math skills, including fractions and decimals required.** **Microsoft Office products – Excel and Word**
+ **Able to work in SAP/PKMS database and make daily entries.**
+ **Able to work well with others and be a team member.**
+ **Ability to use measurement equipment: micrometers, calipers, indicators.**
+ **Minimum 6 (six) months experience in a manufacturing or equivalent environment.**

+ Walk, bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach, and lift approximately 95 (ninety-five) percent of work time.
+ Ability to work overtime or on weekends with short notice.
+ Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and walk over rough ground
+ Willingness to work all/any shifts.
+ Typical plant/manufacturing environment with concrete floors and moving equipment.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
