We are looking for a driven Central Reservations - Team Lead to join our Central Guest Services department. Team Leads are responsible for the success of our Reservations Representatives. You will host weekly 1:1s, dive deep into metrics and quality, as well as, work on other projects designed to improve operations and achieve our vision. As a team, we work closely with other departments to deliver on our brand promise, to hit revenue targets, and to ensure the needs of our guests are always met.
**AT SONDER YOU WILL:**
* Lead and grow a team of talented reservations representatives. Well look to you to inspire and unify people around a vision; act as a technical expert while empowering people to act with autonomy; coach team members to develop themselves personally and professionally
* Conduct weekly meetings with each member of your team to review performance (data-driven metrics and quality assurance), host training sessions, and provide general support
* Maintain and develop daily metrics reporting for your team. Collect and provide accurate data for representatives commissions targets.
* Dive into quarterly projects aimed at improving overall operations and achieving the company and departmental visions; achieve personal and group targets and goals
* Drive down costs and constantly improve processes, while always putting our guests first
* Work closely with our revenue department (including extended stays and outbound sales) to ensure consistency, maintain and develop shared resources, best practices, training tools, etc.
* Research and work sales cases to stay up to date with the latest trends and tools
**WHAT WE LOOK FOR:**
* Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education or commensurate experience
* Minimum 2 years of reservation or sales experience (retail, hotel front desk, contact center, etc.)
* Minimum 1 years of management experience
* Proven and demonstrated success in sales
* Proven experience coaching and developing people
* Great communication skills and ability to think on your feet.
* Experience in data analysis
* Strong computer proficiency, quick to learn new platforms and previous experience with MacOS and Google Suite is an asset
* Incredibly hard working and willing to do what it takes for us to reach our goals.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
* Must have a quiet work environment with space for keyboard and two monitors
