What You Will Do

Join our dynamic, small legal team as Legal Counsel, reporting to the Sr. Director, Legal, Field Systems. In this exciting role, you'll independently draft, review, and negotiate both vendor and customer commercial contracts, providing essential support to our business. We seek a highly collaborative individual who excels at delivering proactive and creative solutions. Independently facilitate contract lifecycle through drafting, negotiation, to execution (e.g., software/SaaS, hosting, purchase/ supply, OEM, distribution, vendor, data, professional services, NDAs, etc.) for a high volume of business-critical, time-sensitive contracts.

Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the company.

Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholder organizations, such as Finance, Marketing, IT, Procurement/ Sourcing, and Product Engineering with the goal of reducing process friction, expediting transaction flow, and improving everyone’s contracting experience.

Design and deliver legal training to the business.

Anticipate and identify legal issues of concern as well as strategic solutions to the General Counsel and Sr. Director, Legal.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Juris Doctor Degree

Member of Colorado bar or ability to waive in on motion

3-5 years’ experience working in a law firm or an in-house corporate legal department

Working understanding of contracts law

Strong customer satisfaction orientation - both internal and external

Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in a high volume and fast-paced setting

Advanced knowledge in MS Word and familiarity with Google Workspace apps (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Meet, Drive)
