Brief Description:
Programmer/Analyst 2 - In this role, the successful candidate will design, develop, integrate and support applications for the Distributed applications on the Payment Processing team. Applications include Wire Tranfer, Cash Vault, FraudGuard Payee and Purity Exception Review.
Detailed Description:
Candidate will assist with analyzing, proposing, and developing technical solutions based upon user specifications, in adherence with client standards
Will be required to work with analysts to understand requirements, help with design documents, test, debug, and help implement programs/processes
Be able to work technical assignments independently
Frequently work with outside vendor representatives and technical teams that interface with internal applications
Will show drive and interest in learning new systems, applications, and technologies
Show an understanding of the industry standards and practices and the knowledge of technical industry trends as they apply to the client
Will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and will be good at multitasking
Work on application vulnerabilities and work to resolve them and update defect tickets
After hours on-call support at some point in future.
Basic Qualifications Min 3 years of experience working in an IT environment providing production support for vendor applications with experience in installing, maintaining and managing multiple applications/systems.
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications: Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Knowledge and/or experience in a Windows and/or UNIX environment
Datastage experience a plus
SSIS experience a plus
Foundational understanding of key infrastructure areas (networking, SAN, security, etc.)
Understanding of job schedulers to create jobs including tasks and processes
Knowledge/experience with version control practices and version control tools
Good understanding of IT system administration best practices
Good understanding of JVMs
Good understanding of Oracle and SQL databases and writing queries
Comfortable with at least one type of shell scripting (Power Shell,KSH, Bash, Perl, WLS, etc.)
Understanding of System change control processes
Work vulnerabilities found on applications
Attention to detail

Strong team building skills
Good oral and written communications with both technical and non-technical audiences
